Thank you, Makarios Ranch, for providing such a beautiful space for Annie's horses and animals. I've had many good times over the years riding with Annie and spending time at the ranch. This is the perfect place to ride and experience the lovely Ortiz Mountains. The views are breathtaking and the land is precious.
I grew up in Ohio. My horse, Bozo, was a Tennessee Walker. I was about 11 years old when Bozo first came to our farm. I remember how tall he was! My height at that time was as tall as Bozo's chest. I showed Bozo in 4-H at the county fair.
My sisters also had horses. Growing up, we rode together everyday after school on our 800 acre farm. We had great adventures, but the best part was caring for and loving our horses. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to grow up with these beautiful animals.
I remember what a surprise it was 46 years ago on that special Christmas morning when my dad told me to check our what was in the barn. Wow! There was my awesome Christmas present from my parents. My beautiful Tennessee Walker with four white legs and all mine! What a blessed Christmas for me. Thanks Mom and Dad. You're the best.
Thank you, Annie and Makarios Ranch, for providing me the opportunity and pleasure to continue to ride at this time in my life. It means a lot to me.
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas 2008, and may God bless you in the coming new year.
Yours truly,
Nancy (Cerrillos, NM)
